Departures this week on every mainland corridor

Vehicle transport across Australia, on our own trucks.

Most companies quoting you today do not own a truck. They take your booking and put it on a load board. We collect your vehicle, we carry it, and we deliver it — same company, start to finish.

  • Goods-in-transit cover on every load
  • Price held 30 days
  • Photographed at both ends

Why this matters

There is a reason interstate car transport has a bad reputation.

It is not the trucks. It is the middlemen. Most operators advertising interstate transport are brokers — they quote you, then post the job to a load board and hope someone picks it up. That is where the six-week delays and the finger-pointing come from.

The broker model

  • Your job is listed on a load board and waits for a carrier to accept it
  • Nobody can tell you a departure date, because nobody has committed to one
  • The quote is an estimate — the carrier can re-rate it later
  • If the vehicle is damaged, the broker points at the carrier and the carrier points back
  • You never learn the name of the person driving your car

How we run

  • Your vehicle goes on our truck, on a run we already had scheduled
  • You get a departure date at booking, not a vague window
  • The price is locked for 30 days and does not move
  • One company is accountable, because there is only one company involved
  • Our drivers are employed, inducted and named on your paperwork

Meet the fleet and the people who drive it

The fleet

These are our trucks. Not a stock photo.

Anyone can claim to own a fleet. Here is ours, in our own livery, loaded with other people's cars.

What each truck in the fleet is for

What we carry

If it has wheels, we have carried it.

Cars are most of what we move, but they are not all of it. Pick a category to see what it costs and how we handle it.

How it gets there

Six ways we move a vehicle from A to B.

Most vehicles travel on an open carrier, because it is the cheapest way that still works. Everything else here exists because some vehicles — and some customers — need something different.

Full service detail

We come to the address you give us and deliver to the address you nominate. Worth being straight about what this means: a car carrier is up to 26 metres long, so we cannot always get down a cul-de-sac or under a low branch. Where the truck cannot safely reach, we meet you at the nearest sensible spot — usually a few hundred metres away, agreed with you in advance rather than sprung on you on the day.

You drop the vehicle at our yard, and collect it from our yard at the other end. It is the cheapest option we offer, typically 20 to 40 per cent below door-to-door, because the truck never leaves the freight route. Sensible if you live near a capital city and can spare an hour at each end.

The standard for everyday vehicles. Your car travels strapped to a multi-car deck alongside seven to ten others, sharing the trip and the cost. It is exposed to weather in the same way it would be sitting in your driveway. For the overwhelming majority of cars, this is the right answer.

A sealed trailer for vehicles that should not be seeing weather or road grit. Classics, low-clearance performance cars, freshly restored paint, and anything with a value that makes a stone chip an expensive problem. We use soft straps over the wheels rather than chassis hooks, and lift rather than ramp where clearance is tight.

Bikes travel upright in dedicated wheel chocks with straps run over the frame, not the handlebars. Compressing the front forks for two thousand kilometres is how fork seals die, so we do not do it. Multiple bikes on the same run share the deck and the cost.

Moving a company fleet, a dealership transfer, or two cars from the one household? Per-vehicle pricing drops sharply once the second unit is on the same truck. Dealers and auction houses run standing rates with us rather than quoting each movement.

How it works

From enquiry to handover in four steps.

None of this requires you to visit a depot, chase us for an update, or find out the real price only after the vehicle is already on the truck.

1

Tell us what and where

The vehicle, where it is now, where it needs to be, and roughly when. If it does not start, cannot be driven onto a ramp, or sits lower than standard, say so here — it changes which truck we send, not whether we take the job.

About two minutes
2

We come back with a price and a date

A real figure against a real departure, not a range. We quote the actual route and the actual collection window, and we hold that price for 30 days. If the corridor only runs weekly, we tell you which week.

Same day, most days
3

We collect and document

A driver arrives inside the agreed window and walks the vehicle with you before it is loaded. Every existing mark is photographed and noted, both parties sign, and you keep a copy. That record is the reference point if anything is ever disputed.

Condition report signed by both parties
4

We deliver and sign off

We call ahead so nobody is waiting around, then unload at the delivery address. Walk the vehicle against the collection photographs before you sign. Balance is settled at that point — not before.

Inspect before you sign
Where we run

The corridors we cover, and how often.

These are scheduled runs, not jobs we go looking for after you book. The east coast moves daily. Perth and Darwin go by rail on a weekly slot. Tasmania crosses Bass Strait twice a week.

Customer reviews

What people say afterwards.

“Moved from Newcastle to Perth for work and could not face driving it. Quoted on the Tuesday, collected the following Monday, on the rail by Wednesday. Arrived within the window they gave me. The condition report was thorough enough that I stopped worrying about it.”

D Damien R. Newcastle → Perth

“Bought a ute sight unseen at a Pickles auction in Brisbane. Intercity collected it from the yard within the free storage period, which saved me the daily fee, and had it in Adelaide inside the week. Dealt with one person the whole time.”

S Sarah M. Brisbane → Adelaide

“Posting from Townsville to Puckapunyal with two cars and a bike. They handled the paperwork without me having to explain it twice, and both cars turned up on the same truck. Third posting I have used them for.”

B Ben K. Townsville → Puckapunyal

“The van went from Hobart to Darwin so we could pick it up for the dry. Bass Strait crossing plus the Track is a big ask and they were upfront that it would be three weeks, which it was. I would rather that than be told ten days and wait a month.”

M Marg T. Hobart → Darwin

“Enclosed transport for a restored HQ going to a show in Melbourne. They lifted it rather than ramping it, which I appreciated more than I expected to. Not the cheapest quote I got. Was not trying to be.”

R Rob D. Sydney → Melbourne

“We move eight to twelve cars a month between our yards. Standing rate, same contact, invoices that reconcile. After two years I have stopped checking whether the delivery happened.”

Network status

What is happening on the network right now.

Weather closes roads, wet seasons stretch windows, and December fills up. We publish it here rather than letting you find out from a driver.

Wet season advisory — Stuart Highway

Northbound Adelaide–Darwin services are running to extended windows through the wet. We build the buffer into your quoted window rather than ringing you on day nine.

Price Lock now standard on every quote

The figure we quote is the figure you pay, held for 30 days. No fuel levy added later, no re-rate once the vehicle is already on the truck.

Second weekly rail slot — east coast to Perth

We have added a second booked rail slot each week across the Nullarbor, taking typical Sydney and Melbourne to Perth windows down by two to three days.

Christmas cut-off dates published

December fills first, every year. Pre-Christmas delivery cut-offs are now live on each corridor page so you can book against a real date.
